John is a Graduate Sports Rehabilitator (GSR) which is accredited by BASRaT (British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers).
John Moynihan BSc (Hons) GSR qualified as a graduate sports rehabilitator from Salford University in May 2009. A Graduate Sport Rehabilitator (GSR) is a graduate level autonomous healthcare practitioner specialising in musculoskeletal management, exercise based rehabilitation and fitness. During his time at university, John gained work experience at a number of elite sports teams such as Kilmarnock FC, Sale Sharks RFC and Warrington Wolves RLFC. Since qualifying he has been working in a sports injury clinic. During the 2009-2010 rugby season he was employed by Nuneaton RFC working as a sports rehabilitator for the first team, development team and the colts, which included the Warwickshire RFU Bob Coward Colts Cup Final. In addition he occasionally provided sports rehabilitation for Coventry Welsh RFC.
John spent two seasons as the Head Sports Rehabilitator at Coventry Rugby Club and is currently the Head Sports Rehabilitator for Stoke Old Boys RFC. Alongside this he has links to a number of other clubs including;
